This very personal piece takes me back to childhood and reflects on the powerful role of daydreaming, something that can and should influence our future lives.
The process of painting "Lalala" was accompanied by the looped Sam Smith's "La La La" – an old pop hit, remembered as nothing but the "hiccup song," which I finally listened to closely, and it hit me after years. Who hasn't had that happen with an old song?...
